close up of a leaf in the morning with dew droplets. Done with acrylic on wood.
This is a concept shoe that was designed with the theme of material. I believe that these two materials mix so well so why not use them in footwear, something not often done.
For this piece I wanted to enhance the colors of a castle in Western France. I did this to bring out the minor details of the old beautiful architecture. The bright yellows complement the bright blues of the skies.10x12 Charcoal on paper, wood
In this piece I really wanted to capture the true essence behind the repetition of the stripes of the zebra. The contrast between the orange wood and the black and white animal make it standout and provides depth. 10x 11 Charcoal on paper
This piece mixes white charcoal on black paper with black charcoal on white paper to provide a very vivid scene. The background, although very subtle, brings the piece together. The reflections in the classes and the wine bottle brings movement to the still life. Photo to Photoshop
In this piece I wanted to link the winding mountain roads to the nature of the mountains. Both impact each other so greatly but are, at the same time, so different. The picture started out very bland and colorless but the addition of some editing and tree branches extending from the yellow lines makes this piece very meaningful. It is simple bit the more you look at it, the more you start to notice the delicate details. 12x5 Acrylic on wood
For this piece, I wanted to use the process of layering to create a deep and full of value piece. The textures and layered colors of the brick are eye catching and it looks like every brick is different from the next. The juxtaposition of the green vines adds detail and experience to the weathering bricks. |
